Day 1: Athens
Arrival in Athens. Our assistant will be waiting you for the transfer from the airport to the Hotel. Take advantage of your assistant local tips and start a stroll through the center of Athens for a first taste of the city.
Day 2: Athens – City tour
The Athens city tour will be passing through the main highlights of the city. We start from Hadrian’s Arch and continue visiting the Panathinaiko Stadium (also known as Kalimarmaro), which was originally built in 329 BC, and where the first Olympics of the modern era were held in 1896. We continue to the main square of the city named “Syntagma ” square (Constitution), where the presidential guard is located. With its typical costumes, the so called” Evzonos ” make the change of guard in front of the Greek parliament and the Tomb of the unknown soldier. After we continue the panoramic tour visiting the Neoclassical buildings of Athens such as the College, the library and the Academy, and finally we will visit Acropolis and Parthenon, this magnificent monument built in 447 BC during the golden age of Pericles dedicated to Goddess Athena. We will appreciate the Propylaea, temple of Athens Nike, Erechtheum and all its magnificent constructions. After Acropolis we will visit the Acropolis Museum, a building of a modern architecture, hosting the unique antiquities from the Acropolis.
Day 3: Zakynthos
Transfer from the Hotel to the airport for your flight to the island of Zakynthos. Arrival in Zakynthos and transfer you to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day to get to know the beauty of this Ionian island with its Venetian influence.
Day 4 & 5: Zakynthos
Free days in the island. We suggest a cruise to visit the wonderful blue caves and the famous Navagio beach.
Have a visit to the beach of Laganas (10km long) famous as nesting area of caretta caretta turtles. Laganas beach in the south parto of the island, is a marine reserve for the conservation of the endangered species of the caretta caretta turtles.
Complement with a visit to the small island of Marathonisi, known as the island of the turtles.
The night Laganas is the center of the nightlife with its varieties of bars and nightclubs.
Day 6: Kefalonia
Transfer from the Hotel to the port for the ferry to island of Kefalonia. Arrival in Kefalonia and transfer to your Hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day and get to know Argostoli the capital of the island. Visit the Acqui monument in honor of the Italians killed here in the Second World War massacre. The Argostoli museum allows you to get an idea of what the island was like before the devastating earthquake in 1953.
Day 7 & 8: Kefalonia
Free days in the island. Visit Myrtos beach, located 30 km from Argostoli island capital, Myrtos is the main postcard of the island.
Be sure to visit the beach of Antisamos situated within a bay, surrounded by mountains of dense forest and surreal colors! Take a stroll in the cave with the Melissani lake and enjoy the deep blue waters and the natural beauty of the cave.
Day 9: Return
Transfer from the Hotel to the airport and take your flight to Athens. Arrival in Athens and transfer to your Hotel. Enjoy the last night in Athens for a stroll in Plaka area and a farewell dinner with the view of Acropolis.
Day 10: Return
Transfer from Hotel to airport for your onward flight.
